Overview

The Home operates two Long Term Care facilities situated in Scarborough and Toronto.

Hellenic Home Scarborough

The Scarborough Long Term Care facility consists of 128 beds, offering private and basic accommodation.

Hellenic Care Toronto

The Toronto Long Term Care facility consists of 81 beds and one short-term stay bed, offering private, semi-private and basic accommodation.

The care and services we provide are developed for the holistic well-being of our residents. We treat our residents with dignity and respect in a home-like, warm and welcoming environment. Hellenic Home is a family-friendly facility where family involvement is encouraged in the care of loved ones by collaborating with the dedicated and qualified staff.

The Long Term Care facilities are governed by the Hellenic Home Policies, the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) Program Standards, the Local Health Integration Networks and the Nursing Home Act. In addition, both operations are accredited by Accreditation Canada. Our Long Term Care facilities consist of the following departments: Nursing, Activation, Chapel Services, Physiotherapy and Restorative Services, Social Work, Dietary Services, Volunteer Services and Environmental Services. In addition to these departments, the Home has partnerships with: The Medical Director and Attending Physicians, Psychogeriatric Outreach Program, Pharmacy and IT Providers.
